Wacky Wednesday Day 3 Fluffy Squirrel series

Wacky Wednesday Day 3 Fluffy Squirrel series. How about a pink squirrel? Why not it is Wacky Wednesday after all! This is a super fun Birthday card!
Strawberry Slush is a Awesome shade of pink, it's one of the 2025-2027 In Colors. I used it for my card base, Squirrel and the gifts. I Love Black and Pink together, Botanical Texture is the perfect DSP for this card. Not only is it black and white (perfect with Strawberry Slush), it also is a leaf pattern, perfect with the Fluffy Squirrels Bundle.

The sentiment I used from the stamp set is all in one, Go Nuts it's your Birthday. I wanted part for the front of the card and part for the inside of the card. I split it up by masking the sentiment (a technique where you use a temporary covering, like a Post-it note or Stampin' Up! masking paper, to cover a portion of a stamp with a sentiment on it.)

More information for this card can be found on my website

Fluffy Squirrel Day 2

Day 2 Fluffy Squirrel series. I thought 2 Squirrels for Day 2  😊

I love this sentiment! I can't wait to see you again, great card to send a friend after a wonderful visit. Or for that special someone in your life.

The cardbase is Crumb Cake with a Crumb Cake panel that I stamped on with Crumb Cake ink. One of my favorite techniques is to stamp with the same color ink as the cardstock to make your own background. I added a strip of dsp, a strip of embossed Cajun Craze cardstock, and ribbon to the Crumb Cake panel. I used my new favorite die set, Branching Out for my focal point. I added the Squirrels and that sweet sentiment to my die cut panel, and finished it off with Cajun Craze Dots.

Fluffy Squirrel Gather Happiness

This week is all about Squirrels. Love 'em or Hate 'em they sure are cute!

I Love 'em on my cards...but my yard that's another story 😄

This fiesty little squirrel wanted to come inside and see what he could find in my house after he was done digging up my garden 😆 We have a Black Walnut Tree in our backyard. They love to gather up the nuts and "squirrel" them away in the most inconvenient places, like underthe hood of my car 😆

When I designed this card I thought, this Fluffy Squirrel could gather his nuts and store them under the tree stump, unlike my fiesty little squirrel!

Ok back to card making 😆

This card starts with a Cajun Craze Cardbase and a panel of Timeless Plaid DSP. I used a die from the Branching Out bundle (becoming my favorite die set) for the background of my focal image, from Basic White cardstock. I stamped the stump, acorns, and sentiment directly on the die cut. I stamped the squirrel and acorns on a piece of scrap Basic White cardstock. I punched them out with the coordinating punch from the Fluffy Squirrel bundle. I absolutely love a punch bundle. It makes for fast card making.
To finish I added a bow made from Old Olive Linen Thread and Low Profile Sparkle Dots.

and go to the projects tab, and click on the picture of this card. Here you can see the items you need to make this card. You can add All to Cart. If you don't need everything that I used you can remove those items.

Step it Up Saturday Beginner, Casual and Avid

Beginner, Casual, and avid

No matter what skill level you are at, we all start at the beginning. Simple stamping uses three things: stamps, ink, and paper (SIP). The other two start with this basic design, but then get “stepped up” with die cuts, Designer Series Paper, and embellishments.

This is all about taking a single stamp set or bundle and making beautiful cards, no matter how new or advanced you are in your card making!

Make the BEGINNER Crafter Card:

Cut your cardstock for the beginner, casual, or avid card
Basic White Card Base: 5 1/2 X 8 1/2, scored @ 4 1/4
Basic White Card Front: 3 3/4 x 5
Mossy Meadow Mat: 5 1/4 X 4

Stamp:
On the Basic White card front, stamp the Pumpkins on the lower left corner with Pumpkin Pie ink.
Stamp the pumpkin stems with Early Espresso ink. Stamp the Leaf in Mossy Meadow ink. Stamp the sentiment on the upper left corner with Early Espresso ink.

Adhere it together:
Using Stampin' Seal or liquid glue, adhere the stamped white layer to the Mossy Meadow Mat, leaving a even margin around all sides. Lastly, adhere this to the front of your card base.

Step it up to the CASUAL Crafter Card:

• On a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the small pumpkin, small stem, leaf, and sentiment.
• Die cut images and sentiment with Cut & Emboss Machine.
• Stamp large pumpkin, stem, leaf, & vine in the lower left corner of the card front.
• Adhere the small pumpkin, stem, & sentiment with dimensionals.
• Add embellishments.

Step it up to the AVID Crafter Card:

• Start by dry embossing the Basic White card front.
• Die cut Mossy Meadow cardstock and DSP with dies.
• Die cut leaves and vines with Mossy Meadow Cardstock
• On a scrap of Basic White cardstock stamp pumpkins, stems, & sentiment and die cut.
•  Adhere embossed card front to Mossy Meadow Mat and adhere to cardbase.
•  Adhere Mossy Meadow & DSP die cuts to card front.
•  Adhere pumpkins, stems, leaf, ribbon, & sentiment with dimensionals.
•  Adhere remaining vine with glue.
• Add embellishments.

I hope you enjoy making either the beginner, casual, avid or all three cards! Stamps, ink, and paper are the key base elements for beautiful cards.

Amber Autumn Day 5

Day 5 in my Autumn Amber Series. I'm calling this my Fancy Card 😉

It's hard to tell in this picture, I used the beautiful Earthen Toned Metallic paper with the background die from the Autumn Amber bundle. I cut away half of the die cut with my snips. The Metallic paper makes this card look fancy.

While I was designing this card, I thought this would make a beautiful wedding card for fall. The colors could easily be switched out for colors to match the wedding.

I started with a Very Vanilla card base. I mated the diecut background on a panel of Very Vanilla and mated that to a panel of Pecan Pie. I then I adhered the mats to the cardbase with seal. Next I die cut the leaves and wheat stalk with Basic White Cardstock, and used Stampin' Blends to add color to them. I adhered a piece of trim to the card front on the lower right side and added the die cuts over the trim. I die cut two labels one with Very Vanilla Cardstock and one with Pecan Pie. I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso ink the Very Vanilla label. I adhered both labels over the focal image with dimensionals and then added embellishments.

I  mimicked the card front on the inside using the other half of the background die.

and go to the projects tab, and click on the picture of this card. Here you can add the items you need to make this card to your cart. You can add All to Cart. If you don't need everything that I used you can remove those items.

Amber Autumn You're Simply The Best

Amber Autumn series Day 4

My card starts with a Early Espresso cardbase. I matted two pieces of DSP and a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock, that I embossed with Gathering leaves embossing folder on a panel of Basic Beige cardstock. I adhered the mat to the cardbase with dimensionals.

I stamped the acorn image on Very Vanilla cardstock and die cut it.
I colored the image with blends. I then took it and pressed it into Versamark Ink. I poured clear embossing powder over the image and then heat embossed to give it a glossy look.
I stamped the sentiment onto a square die cut of Basic Beige cardstock with Early Espresso ink. I added both to the card front with dimensionals.

For embellishments I added a Mossy Meadow bow and Streaked dots.

Amber Autumn Square Card

Amber Autumn Series day 3 is a square card. Square cards are a fun change from the A2 card. This square card fits in a A2 envelope, no extra postage will be required then.

The square Early Espresso cardbase measures 8 1/2 X 4 1/4 and scored @ 4 1/4.
I matted four pieces of DSP (two patterns) on Basic Beige cardstock.
I then matted this on Cajun Craze cardstock and adhered it to my cardbase.

I stamped the pumpkin image on Vanilla cardstock, and colored with blends.  The sentiment label is die cut from Basic Beige cardstock. Next I adhered a faux bow to the middle of the card and adhered my stamped image over the bow with dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso ink. I then adhered it on the right side of the card, slightly over the stamped image with dimensionals.
I added Streaked Dots to the card front.

and go to the projects tab, and click on the picture of this card. Here you can add the items you need to make this card to your cart. You can add All to Cart. If you don't need everything that I used you can remove those items.

Amber Autumn with Words For The Season

Day 2 in my Amber Autumn Series.

For today's card I cased Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Jaimie Babarczy (Stamp it up with Jaimie).  She makes the most beautiful cards.  I did change a couple things to make it my own.

My card starts with a Cajun Craze cardbase. I then took a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock and stamped the acorn image over it in Crumb Cake ink. I love a stamped background!!
I then matted this on Early Espresso cardstock and adhered it to my cardbase.
I matted two patterns of DSP on Early Espresso cardstock. I adhered the panels staggered. The sentiment (Autumn) is die cut from Early Espresso cardstock. The sentiment label is die cut from Crumb Cake cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso ink.
I adhered  a couple leaves that were die cut from Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow cardstock.
For embellishments I added an Old Olive linen thred bow and Streaked dots.

Stampin' Up! Amber Autumn

This week I will be showcasing cards from the Amber Autumn Bundle. It is part of the Autumn Toile Suite.  It is one of the Suites, from the September-December 2025 Mini Catalog.

I made this card for a color challenge that my Upline, Melissa hosts.  The colors for the challenge are Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, & Pecan Pie.

For this card I started with a Cajun Craze card base. Then I stamped the image with Crumb Cake ink on a Crumb Cake 4 X 5 1/4 mat. I added DSP to the bottom of the Crumb Cake Mat. On the strip of Cajun Craze Cardstock I embossed the sentiment with White Powder, I adhered it at the top of the DSP. I die cut four leaves and a wheatstalk. When you die cut the leaves the vein comes out. I wanted the veins to stay in the leaf. I kept the veins and put them back in the leaves and I mix and matched the colors. I adhered the then to the card front with dimensionals and added a bow and embellishments.
For the inside, I added a Basic White Mat with a strip of DSP.

and go to the projects tab, and click on the picture of this card. Here you can add the items you need to make this card to your cart. You can add All to Cart. If you don't need everything that I used you can remove those items

Stamin' Up! Traditions of Christmas Suite using the One Sheet Wonder Template

My last One Sheet Wonder uses the Traditions Of Christmas Suite. It is such a great Suite. The DSP is gorgeous, the stamp and die bundles are awesome, the embellishments and ribbon are so pretty, and there's even a embossing folder.

Poinsettia's and Christmas go hand in hand. I used the embossing folder from the Suite for the card front. I die cut the evergreen branch with Basic White Cardstock and used Metallic rub on transfers for the touches of gold. I fussy cut poinsettias from DSP.

I love when you can use dies to cut a printed image on DSP. This card came together quickly. I cut the label sentiment apart for this card.

This layout is becoming my favorite. I really like the banner mats!! Secret Sea looks sharp with this color combination. Simple holly leaves round out the card perfectly.

One thing I forget to do, color on DSP. I used the flicking technique with blends to add color to the white flowers.

I'm a creature of habit. When I stamp an image, I stamp in black ink and color with Blends. I've been trying things out of my comfort zone. I stamped the focal point image with Cherry Cobbler ink, and used a faux watercolor technique using ink and Wink of Stella.

Who doesn't love a Christmas floral arrangement. The beautiful floral spray can be stamped and die cut or die cut from DSP.

I have enjoyed showing you different ways to use the same One Sheet Wonder with different bundles. I hope you try the One Sheet Wonder or try a technique you don't normally use.
Happy Stamping,
Alicia

Caseing the Stampin' Up! September-December 2025 mini catalog

This is the One Sheet Wonder template I'm using for my cards this week.
I made Halloween cards with a New Online Exclusive that was released yesterday. Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP & Sticker Sheet and Sweet Halloween Stamp Set. These two products are mostly used in Scrapbooking. I made cards instead. I will use what I have leftover for a Scrapbook Page. I also used Spooky Sweet Suite.

What's nice about using the One Sheet Wonder template, it makes quick cute cards and no waste of your DSP. I used the cards shown on pg. 42 in the September-December 2025 Mini Catalog for my card layouts. That's one of the great things about caseing the catalog. The One Sheet Wonder Template was provided and the card layout ideas were all right there.

This cute Vampire Bear was fussy cut from the DSP as well as the Pumpkin Pie frame.

The focal point is from the empherma that is with the DSP. I stamped images on the DSP with Versamark Ink. I embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, to add dimension to the DSP. I stamped the sentiment on two of the labels from the Sticker sheet.

The Mummy Hippo is probably my favorite from the empherma. I added a wobbler to him so he does a little mummy shake!!! I used the Stylish Shape Dies to cut a circle from DSP for the sentiment.

This Ballerina Flamingo is definitely too Cute to Spook. The Petunia Pop strips with the bats are from the Sticker Sheet.

Don't worry this haunted house isn't spooky, it's all about the sweets!! I added Petunia Pop ink with a blending brush to the DSP. The Frankenstein puppy is stamped with Petunia Pop on Basic White Cardstock.

This ghost reminds me of the ghost costumes from It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. I cut the ghost (from the Sticker Sheet) in half so I could make it longer. I used the Hey Pumpkin label from the Sticker Sheet on the ghost to cover where I cut the ghost.

I hope you find inspiration for your Halloween card making using The One Sheet Wonder template.

Happy Stamping,
Alicia

Caseing the Stampin' Up! September-December 2025 Mini Catalog

Have you looked through the New Mini catalog? I've looked through it more times than I'm willing to admit 😁 and somehow I looked passed page 42. There is an AWESOME One Sheet Wonder template, and pictures of the cards made with them. These are the cards I made using the one sheet wonder template. Have you used a One Sheet Wonder before? I've done them a few times. Whats nice, there isn't any waste to your DSP. This template uses a 12x12 piece of DSP.

This week I will be showing different Stamp sets and DSP using the One Sheet Wonder from pg. 42

This Wednesday, September 3rd you can order from the September-December 2025 mini catalog and the September On Line Exclusives. There will also be two new kits available. If you would like me to mail you a Mini Catalog, fill out the contact form on this blog and I will get one out to you.

Happy Crafting,
Alicia
