 Splendid Thoughts Masking Technique 

Measurements:

Cardbase- 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4

Mats- Basic White 3 1/4 X 4 3/4 (cut this mat after you do the Masking technique), Pool Party 3 3/8 X 4 5/8, Soft Sea Foam 3 1/2 X 5

Instructions: 

- Fold and burnish card base

- Die cut leave in Fresh Freesia CS

- Die cut Masking Paper with Picture This Dies

- Adhere Masking Paper to Basic White CS 

- Stamp images in Versamark ink on Mask and CS in the top and bottom Rectangle.

- Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder and use Heat Tool to melt Powder

- Use Blending Brushes and inks over the mask.

- Remove Masking Paper from CS

- Cut CS for mat 3 1/4 X 4 3/4

- Adhere Basic White mat with seal to Pool Party mat

- Adhere Mats to Soft Sea Foam mat with seal

- Adhere Mats to cardbase with dimensionals 

- Adhere leaf Die cut with glue dot to card front

- String Pool Party Ribbon through the Open Leaf Trinket and tie a bow, Adhere to card front with a glue dot

Optional: 

Inside Mat 5 1/4 X 4

- Stamp leaf image in Versamark on lower right corner of mat

- Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder and heat

- Use Blending Brushes with ink pads over the embossed image

 Tree Lot Dies Just For You

I made this card for a color challenge my Team Leader, Melissa hosts on her Facebook Page. For this challenge we had to use Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce, and Starry Sky.

I decided I would use the Tree Lot Dies for my card. Gotta love that camper!! I also had to try out the Deckled Rectangle dies. I really like them! I'm sure you'll be seeing them on many of my upcoming cards 😉

Measurements:

Cardbase- 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4

DSP Mats: I used 6x6 sheets and used the two largest Deckled Rectangle Dies

Instructions:

-Fold and burnish carbase

-Adhere Starry Sky mat to cardbase

-Adhere Daffodil Delight Mat to card front with Dimensionals 

-Die cut camper with Basic White CS and Poppy Parade CS and the curtain in Pool Party

-Adhere Poppy Parade die cut to camper with Multipurpose Liquid Glue 

-Hand cut a small piece of vellum for the window. Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue 

-Adhere curtain die cut with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. 

-Stamp trees with Shaded Spruce Ink on Basic White CS. Two of the trees I stamped off first. 

-Cut with coordinating die cuts. Adhere to card front with dimensionals 

-Adhere Camper to card front with dimensionals 

-Die cut circle and stamp sentiment with Starry Sky Ink,  Adhere ro cardfront with dimensionals. 

-Embellish with In Color Matte Dots.

• Soft Succulent – 11” x 4 ½”, score @ 2” and 7 ½” fold and burnish

• Very Vanilla – 4” x 5 ¼“

• Evening Evergreen – 4” x 3 ¼”

• Evening Evergreen – 4” x 1 ¾”

• DSP – 3 13/16” x 1 9/16”

3 7/8 x 3 1/8

• Very Vanilla – for tag die cut

Instructions:

- Adhere Evening Evergreen to the top panel of the card base

- Adhere DSP layer to the Evening Evergreen Mat

-Adhere Evening Evergreen Mat (4” x 1 ¾”) and DSP –( 3 13/16” x 1 9/16”)

 to the bottom panel of the cardbase

- Die-cut tag with Very Vanilla, cut off bottom Ribbon hole of the tag

-Stamp Poinsettia image in Popppy Parade Ink on upper left of tag

-Stamp Poinsettia image twice on masking Paper and fussy cut.

-Apply one mask to Poinsettia image you stamped on tag, stamp leaf image four times around image

-Next with mask still in place Stamp the Poinsettia image to the right of the first image.

-Keep mask on and add second mask to the other Poinsettia 

-Stamp leaf image around image.

-Stamp Sentiment on  bottom  of the tag

-Add the tag to the card front – Add adhesive to the bottom of the tag making sure it is not added to the back area that hangs over

 -Stamp a sentiment on the bottom of the tag

-Add ribbon and Sequins 

 -Stamp image(s) in coordinating ink on the inside Very Vanilla mat using Masking technique for the leaves

- Adhere the inside mat to the inside of the card
