Here's a fun Saturday project for you. I learned how to make it from a fellow team member, Ann Parks. I belong to a wonderful Stamping Team, The Inkredible Crafters. At the last meeting Ann showed us how to make this super fun card. Her inspiration came from Canadian Demonstrator, Rose Coleman.
Project Layers:
5 1/2 x 4 1/4 cardbase
12 x 5 1/4" DSP (horizontal orientation to start; will end up vertical after folding)
3 5/8 x 4 1/4 Basic White cardstock (for message)
3 1/8 x 4 1/4 Coordinating cardstock (for gift card or second message)
1 x 4 1/4 Coordinating DSP (for message panel)
12 X 5 1/4 DSP score @ 1 7/8, 4 3/4, and 8
Fold starting on the left: Valley, Mountain, Valley
Add adhesive on the left (the first "flap")
(See above Picture)
(See above Picture)
Add adhesive just on the top and bottom of the middle panel
(See above Picture)
This is what your panel will look like after you adhere together
(See above Picture)
Turn over and add adhesive to just the right top and bottom
(See above Picture)
What it will look like after you adhere together.
Left Pocket
Right Pocket
With gift card holder and greeting
(See above Picture)
Gift Card holder in the left pocket, and message/greeting in the right pocket
(See above Picture)
I used the slot punch from the Hole Punch Assortment, on the gift card holder panel, to add ribbon for the recipient to know to pull it out.
I used Stylish Shape Dies to cut 2 circles. I adhered them to the message panel for the pull out.
I hope you have a great Saturday, and a wonderful weekend.
Happy Stamping,
Alicia 💗
