Desktop Post It Note Holder

 

In honor of Back 2 School I thought I would share a 4x6 Desktop Post It Note Holder. This makes a great gift!! If you're looking for a last minute gift idea for the educator in your life I think you'll like this! I used Stampin' Up! Learn & Grow Stamp Set. I also made two others for everyday, using Radiant Sunflowers and Mix & Match Ephemera. Pictures at the end of this blog post for those.

 Measurements:

• Basic Black Cardstock - 6" x 4"
• Basic White Cardstock - 5 1/4" x 4" (die cut and stamping)
• Crumb Cake Cardstock - 4" x 2 3/8" (tag die cut)
• Daffodil Delight Cardstock - 3" x 1" (ruler)
• Azure Afternoon Cardstock - 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" (mat for post it notes) Scrap piece for tag topper die cut. 

Instructions:

1. Add White Ink to the edges of Basic Black Cardstock mat (to mimic a chalkboard) by dragging ink pad across the edges.
2. Adhere Azure Afternoon Cardstock mat to the right side of the Basic Black Cardstock mat. Insert into frame.
3. Using the "note paper" die (from Extraordinary Life Dies) die cut out of Basic White Cardstock. Next, stamp Welcome Back sentiment in Black Ink onto top of the die cut.
4. Stamp the books and Smiley Emoji in Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock. Color using Azure Afternoon, Real Red, and Daffodil Delights Stampin' Blends. Next stamp A+ in Real Red onto the book. Fussy Cut both with Detail Scissors.
5. Stamp ruler in Basic Black Ink onto Daffodil Delight Cardstock. Fussy Cut with Detail Scissors.
6. Stamp Crayon in Basic Black Ink onto Shaded Spruce Cardstock. Fussy Cut with Detail Scissors.
7. Die cut tag out of Crumb Cake Cardstock, and die cut tag topper out of Azure Afternoon Cardstock. Next adhere it to the Crumb Cake Cardstock tag. 
8. Adhere Fussy Cut images to the Basic White Cardstock die cut. Next adhere the Basic White die cut to the Crumb Cake tag die cut. Adhere Tag to the left side of the frame. Add Bakers Twine to the tag.
9. Adhere Post it note pad to the right side of the frame, lining it up over the Azure Afternoon Cardstock mat.
