The Festive Friends Crew

I love The Festive Friends Crew 😉 This bundle is so much fun!
I started with a Real Red cardbase. I added a panel of In Color 2025-2027 DSP to the card front. Next I tore a piece of Basic White cardstock to mimic snow. I stamped the sentiment directly on to the Basic White cardstock, and adhered to the card front. I tucked two die cut trees under the "snow".  I then stamped the Santa, Snowman, and Elf with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Basic White cardstock and die cut out. I colored with blends and adhered to the card front.

From now through October 12, when you spend at least $50 in my online store (before tax and shipping, and after rewards), you can get the 4 card kits as a free thank you gift from me! When you spend $75.00 plus (before tax and shipping, and after rewards) you will receive the 4 card kits and a package of Traditional Sparling Sequins.

Festive Friends Santas coming to town

As a kid Santa was so magical. As I got older Santa remained magical. I think in part that was due to my Dad. He always believed in Santa. I know now it was the magic of Christmas and everything it brings that he believed in.
I used Soft Sea Foam for the cardbase and mats. The lighter color really makes the DSP, Tree, and Santa stand out. I used the label die from the bundle for the sentiment. The label has two star like openings on each end, I ran the ribbon through them. This was such a fun card to make.

From now through October 12, when you spend at least $50 in my online store (before tax and shipping), you can get the 4 card kits as a free thank you gift from me!

Festive Friends Class To Go Santas little helper

This sweet little elf card starts with a Garden Green cardbase

The DSP is from 6x6 Christmas Tags & More.

The elfs outfit is colored with Wink Of Stella and Garden Green ink.  Since we do not have Garden Green Blends, and I really wanted the elf to match the DSP and cardbase. I used Wink Of Stella and a Garden Green ink Pad to color my image. The Wink of Stella coloring technique is so fun. I will show you this technique in my Festive Friends Class To Go, today at 2Pm CDT on Facebook Live.

From now through October 12, when you spend at least $50 in my online store (before tax and shipping), you can get the 4 card kits as a free thank you gift from me!

Festive Friends Class To Go Snowman

I will be sharing how I made the card pictured, and three others Thursday October 9th at 2pm CDT on Facebook Live.

I just love the colors for this Snowman card. I used Cloud Cover for the cardbase and tag. The Secret Sea DSP on the card front has a Snowflake feel to it, which pairs great with this sweet little Snowman. I then used a panel of Cherry Cobbler DSP so the focal point (Snowman and tag) popped.

I added a bow and Traditional Sparkle Sequins for embellishments.

From now through October 12, when you spend at least $50 in my online store (before tax and shipping), you can get the 4 card kits as a free thank you gift from me!

September 2025 Paper Pumpkin Alternates

September 2025 Fall for Toile Paper Pumpkin kit was so fun. I love when a Paper Pumpkin kit coordinates with a Suite or bundle. This kit coordinates with Autumn Toile Suite. Below are the three cards that are made per the instructions. I love the colors so much!!

After I made the three cards as instructed. I cut apart the rest of the cardbases to extend my kit.  The picture below is my first alternate card

I started with a Cajun Craze cardstock cardbase. The plaid dsp mat is actually one of the cardbases from the kit that I cut in half and then cut down to 4 X 5 1/4. Next I cut apart another cardbase, and the flaps of three envelopes from the kit. I used the tear technique on the envelope flaps and adhered to a 4 X 3 1/4 mat. I used the add on die set that coordinates with the kit for the three leaves. The leaves are cut from the leftover envelope flaps. For embellishments I added a Early Espresso thread bow and Pressed Flower motifs.

The second alternate card is similar to the original. I changed the card base to a Cajun Craze Cardbase. The mat is a cardbase from that I cut to
4 X 5 1/4. I used a blending brush with Pecan Pie ink on the mat and stamped the birds in Early Espresso ink. I adhered the frame die cut with dimensionals to the card front. I added the die cut fox and stamped tag to the lower right of the card front. For embellishments I added Pressed Flower Motifs.

The third alternate card is also a Cajun Craze Cardbase with a
4 1/4 X 5 1/5 mat cut from one of the Kits Cardbases. I cut the corn field die in half and adhered to the card front. I added the Leaf die cuts from the kit and the acorns were cut from the add-on die set. I stamped the sentiment on a tag from the kit and tucked it under the acorns. For embellishments I used the Pressed Flower Motifs.

The fourth alternate card is a "Book Binding" fun fold. The cardbase is Early Espresso cardstock. For a book binding fun fold card, cut 11″ x 4-1/4″ cardstock and score at 2-1/8″, 4-1/4″, and 5-1/2″. Fold the card in half at the 5-1/2″ line, then fold back the 4-1/4″ and 2-1/8″ sections to create the book-like spine. The DSP is a card base that I cut apart from the kit. I used the largest square from the Stylish Shape Dies to cut the panel on the card front. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the square with Cajun Craze ink.  I added three of the beautiful foil leaves from the kit. To embelish the card I used Linen Thread and Cajun Craze Dots.

I hope this inspires you to make more from your Paper Pumpkin kit.
