Paradise Palms and Artfully Composed DSP

 

Measurements: 

Card Base 4 1/4 x 11 scored @ 5 1/2

DSP 5 1/4 X 4

Basic White and DSP mats were cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies

I used the masking technique for my stamped image. 

Inked up in Crumb Cake

I removed the tape and then added Pear Pizzazz Write Markers to the Palms. I could've done this for the entire image, but I do not have a Crumb Cake Write marker. Then huff on your stamp to make sure the marker on your stamp retains its moisture.

Don't forget the inside of your card. I stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral and added the palm tree, sand and coconuts.

Easy card with DSP

 

This is a great technique to make a card quick, and this is also a good way to use up some of your designer series paper.  

DSP: 12X12

Cut your DSP- 4" x 12"  (you will get 3 cards from one sheet of 12X12 DSP)

Score @ 1" and 6 1/2" fold and burnish

CS: 3/4 X 4

      5 1/4 X 3 3/4 inside mat

      5 X 3 1/2 inside mat

Adhere 3/4 X 4 CS where you fold back the 1" flap.  I chose Poppy Parade for this card.

Decorate the front of your card with a die cut banner, and sentiment. You can make the front of your card simple, or take it up a step.

Tie ribbon around front of card and embellish.

4-20-22 Wednesday Sketch Challenge Let's Set Sail

Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone's week is going good so far. Today is sketch challenge day! My favorite day of the week! 😊

The challenge is to follow the sketch. You can use any stamp set, colors or dsp you would like. I just ask that you use mainly Stampin' Up! Products. Post a picture of your card on My Facebook Group page with the #cardsketchchallenge. If you do not have access to Facebook, you can email me a picture of your card and I will post it for you. Your card needs to be submitted by Tuesday of the following week. Everyone who participates in the challenge will be entered in a drawing for a prize. I can't wait to see what everyone makes!! I used the Let's Set Sail stamp set for my challenge card.. This is a great stamp set! It is a very versatile set. I'm always looking for a good stamp set to have in my stash for masculine cards, and all occasion cards. This one is great for both!
