Learn & Grow Pocket School Picture Card

 I saw a pocket card that Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Kristina Baldwin made and was very intrigued!! It is a card and a keepsake. The tag that goes in the pocket is the keepsake part. You put your child's school picture on it. This is great for Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, or Friends. This also could be used as a gift card holder. I cased Kristina's card and didn't change a thing, I loved her color and DSP choices. I definitely would like to make a Christmas version of this!!

Measurements: 

• Thick Basic White Cardstock - 5 1/2" X 4 1/4"
• Basic White Cardstock  - 3 3/4" X 3", 3 1/2" X 2 1/8"
• Night of Navy - 4" X 3 1/4", 5 1/2" X 1/4"
• Golden Glow - 4 1/2" X 2 3/8", 2 3/4 " X 3/4", 2 1/4" X 1 1/2"
• Cherry Cobbler - 5 1/2" X 3", 2 1/4" X 1 1/4"
• DSP - 5 1/2" X 1 1/4"

 

Instructions: 

1. Stamp sentiment in Night of Navy Ink onto Thick Basic White Cardstock Mat (back of cardbase)
2. Emboss Cherry Cobbler Cardstock panel with Swirl embossing folder. Adhere to Thick Basic White Cardstock Mat (cardbase) on the left hand side.
3. Adhere DSP panel to the card front on the right hand side.
4. Adhere strip of Night of Navy Cardstock over the "seam" of the Cherry Cobbler and DSP.
5. Stamp sentiment in Night of Navy Ink onto Basic White Cardstock (3 3/4" X 3") mat on the lower right corner. Next Adhere to Night of Navy Cardstock mat. Add Foam Strips on the back sides and bottom. Adhere to card front. This is your pocket.
6. Stamp book image in Night of Navy Ink onto Golden Glow Cardstock and Cherry Cobbler Cardstock. Stamp stars in Night of Navy Ink onto the larger Golden Glow Book. Next fussy cut them both. Cut apart the Cherry Cobbler books. Adhere the smaller Cherry Cobbler book to the Golden Glow books. Adhere to the front of the pocket.
7. Stamp Ruler in Night of Navy Ink onto Golden Glow Cardstock. Next fussy cut. Adhere over books with Dimensionals.
8. Die cut tag out of Golden Glow Cardstock. Die cut reinforcement tab for the tag out of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock, adhere to the tag. String White Bakers Twine through the top of the tag and tie in a bow. Adhere Basic White Cardstock Mat to the tag. Insert tag into pocket.
9. Embellish with Natural Matte Dots.
